In February, 2023, a new, highly interesting commission for Rockenhausen and branch Darmstadt was received:

New construction of approx. 18 km of redundant 1,000 water pipe from Ried in Hesse (near Darmstadt) to Rüsselsheim for the water supply of the Rhine-Main area

• Procedural support (scoping, consideration of statements, hearings)
• Landscape management plan
• Natura 2,000 reports
• Specialist contribution to species protection
• Technical paper on the Water Framework Directive
• Technical contribution forest
• EIA report
• Participation in implementation planning
• Ecological construction supervision

With this, igr is supporting this major project (R2S + R2M) for Hessenwasser (Groß-Gerau) over a length of approx. 35 km until at least approx. mid 2027
